Jeffrey Hayes; Contemporary Still Life Painting
Most of his painting begin with a moment of connection with a common object or scene: fundamentally re-viewing something he have seen around him dozens, maybe hundreds of times, and realizing that it has within it the seed of a work of art. These quiet, peaceful, and intimate moments are for him the essence of what it means to be an artist. His work owes an obvious and conscious debt to the great Dutch still life masters of 350 years ago.
Ann Salk Rosenberg; Painter
Her paintings are large, bold narratives. She uses vibrant colors, geometric shapes and a touch of humor to reflect her joyous spirit, celebrate her creativity and inhale the glorious fullness of life.
The inspiration for each painting comes from a place deep inside and gets channeled through her brush onto her canvas. The strokes come together and create a lyrical story. Sometimes the story is from her history, but often it is simply one drawn from our collective consciousness. It is as if she start the process by accessing and then painting our universal memories, experiences and lessons. You, the viewer, then take up the story and it becomes your own.
Norma Lynn Lyman; Jewelry
Norma Lynn Lyman was born into a large family of artists and craftsmen. She Began Studying jewelry at the side of master jeweler Mena Messina of Cambridge, MA She continued her education at New York’s prestigious Kulicke-Stark Academy, during which time she honed her technical skills and built up an impressive collection of jewelry. It was at this time that Norma Lynn began to receive commissions for her work.
Susan Varga; Ceramic
Susan Varga was born and raised in Budapest, Hungary, where the Viennese-Hungarian Art Nouveau style was an early influence. Her work features decorative, elegant figures amidst gilded patterns. Strong colors, maroon, black and gold luster contrast with the natural white clay in the faces and hands of the figures. She builds her ceramic objects in a traditional manner, forming vases, bowls and platters on a potter’s wheel. Because of their large size, the vases and bowls must be formed in sections on the wheel and later assembled in a unified piece. After the first firing, the pieces are sanded and elaborate paintings are applied to fill all spaces on the vessels.
Sharon L Smith; Figurative and Equine Sculptor
Among her favorite subjects are both horses and women, She love showing both their beauty and their strength. Her sculpture’s start with a feeling, emotion or movement she would like to convey. She was recently announced a winner in the “one of a kind” search of the magazine “Exploring TOSCA”. This magazine covers Theater, Opera, Shakespeare, Culture and Art for the Minnesota twin cities. Also, She was accepted a second time into the American Academy of Equine Art show, the first being in 2002.

Mohammad Iqbal
Mohammad Iqbal spent eleven years in Japan, doing higher studies in art, and received his Ph.D. degree from the Tokyo University of the Arts in 2010. A chapter of his Ph.D. dissertation titled “Civilization and Destruction” where he shows how children have to pay a heavy price for the wars the elders wage in different flash-points of the world. As the children lose their innocence, the world turns into a wasteland. Iqbal has tried to understand why these periodic outbursts of madness occur, and how these have led to a crisis of civilization. The crisis has become all the more intractable with newer catastrophes like ecological degradation and economic disasters that put children’s lives into jeopardy. While working on his dissertation, Iqbal planned and proceeded with a series of paintings depicting the clash between innocence and experience. For an authentic representation of the sense of loss caused by such a clash, Iqbal went back to his own personal experiences during the Bangladesh war of liberation in 1971 when he was only 4, and extrapolate those for projecting a grim picture not only of our time, but also of the future. He finished the series in Bangladesh, where he moved back on completion of his Ph.D. and joined the Institute of Art of Dhaka University as a Lecturer.
Saidul Haque Juise
Saidul Haque Juise’s work is a social study of his environment, society and current political issues. He always has a message for his audience. Sometime his thoughts appeared as protest, sometime as satire or a subject. He loves to make large artwork to communicate with a large audience, but he never uses expensive material for his work, rather he tries to use cheap and easily found materials like paper, bamboo and sand.
Maksuda Iqbal Nipa
Maksuda Iqbal Nipa acquired her unique style of presenting serenity of nature while doing her ME in Fine Arts (Painting) at Aichi University of Education, Japan. She uses different layers of colors in her oil paintings; the layers offer a way to show different elements of nature. She loves nature. She believes that urban dwellers leading materialistic lives are totally alienated from nature. To give them relief, she presents nature in her abstract paintings. Although there is no connection with her paintings, she greatly admires the paintings of Klimt. The techniques of Turner and Constable have also impacted her.
