Boston, August 2024- "With the Taste of NO" features the captivating and thought-provoking works of the exceptionally talented artist, Fatemeh Heidarpour. Artist Statement:

In the collection "With the Taste of NO" I narrate the world of a  woman who bears the burden of a new birth and ask about her existence  and identity. She hopes to find a new meaning in her existence, even though she lives in a geography where women are defined as pale, receptive and sinful beings.

Each artwork is an imagination of the life and memories that I have seen or heard and to represent them I have used figures and objects in a colorful space.

Some of these objects belong to women whose pains, sufferings and grief I have heard, the story of 'not being' and 'regrets' that are sewn on their bodies and souls with sacred dos and don'ts, endless ifs and aged looks, but they are seeking to pass through the red lines and to say 'NO'  to the recall of non-existence.
