Hand silk embroidery is one of excellent traditional Chinese craft over 2500 years’ history. Art technique for embroidery is consisting of pulling colored silk threads through a silk screen with needle to stitch patterns and words that have been preciously designed on the back ground.

Yan and his mother, Linying Wang, a famous embroidery artist, had got many awards including:

–       57 street art fair: One of the famous juried fine art show. He got second biggest award in art fair 2012

–       Gold coast art fair: One of top fine art show in Chicago. Over 450 fine artist from around the country. He got best of show in 2D. 2012

–       Port Clinton art festival: One of top fine art show in Chicago area, over 400 top quality artist from around the country was participated. I got best of the show in 2D.

–        Art fair on the square Madison WI: No.1 fine art show in WI over 300 fine artists from around the country. He got best of the show in Fiber 2012.
