DESCRIPTION:Touch Art Gallery in collaboration with Urbanica is pleased to present: \nAbstract Perspectives – A Celebration of Art and Film \n429 Melnea Cass Blvd\, July 2023 \nTouch Art Gallery and Urbanica are proud to announce the highly anticipated event\, “Abstract Perspectives\,” featuring the captivating works of renowned photographer Ali Farhoodi as well as a number of other pieces from other gifted Iranian and Afghan creatives. The exhibition will consist of photography and digital art and is scheduled to take place in July 2023. The opening reception of the exhibition is scheduled to take place on Saturday\, July 15th from 4 to 6 pm followed by a film screening from 6 to 8pm. \nThis exhibition will immerse attendees in a space of visual enchantment and expression\, showcasing Farhoodi’s unique talent for capturing the world through his lens. \nAli Farhoodi\, a master of his craft\, has established himself as a visionary artist\, pushing the boundaries of traditional photography. Through his abstract compositions\, he transcends conventional artistic norms\, evoking deep emotions and sparking introspection in viewers. His works are a harmonious blend of light\, color\, and movement\, inviting the audience to explore the depths of their own imagination. \nMost of the artists being showcased live and work in Iran or Afghanistan as professionals of their craft including: \n\nQasem Noori\nMary Mousavi\nNaser Turkamani\nAli Rahemi Haghighi\nJafar Rahimi\nSeyed Mohsen Pourmohseni Shakib\nParisa Shafighi\nLili Nekookar\nSahar Khosravi\nFatemeh Mozafari\n\nIn addition to the captivating photography exhibition\,  We are thrilled to present a special screening of “Forbidden Womanhood” a thought-provoking coming-of-age film directed by the talented filmmaker Maryam Zahirimehr.
